How does one get digital photographs printed in India? How do I share my pictures with friends?

I take a lot of digital pictures with my camera at home and during functions and parties, but they all end up getting stored in my laptop's hard drive. I am not able to share them with others because they are big files running upto 2MB each. Secondly, if I want to get them printed, I don't know how to get that done in India. So, while I take a lot of pictures, they are rarely ever looked at again, which I feel sad about. Can someone help?

You can download Picasa http://picasa.google.com/ which will let you export your photos at a lower quality fairly easily.

You could try photobucket.com or flickr.com to host your photos online.

Flickr, etc. do not let you print the photos on photo (silver halide) paper. Similar services are now available in India. FoBaz is one of them. Store on line for free, share with friends around the world and print them if necessary and can deliver anywhere in India. Report It

Your answer fobaz.com - they have recently launched in India and is part of photoworks.com. Haven't checked them out - but seem to be part of a large organization.

The website says you can share as well as print for delivery in India in RUPEES not in $$$.

to print photos from digital photos u can go to and phto studio and they will help u and if u want to share ur photos online u can download photos in www.snapfish.com its easy and u can share as many photos u want and u can send videos also.even yahoo photos is much easier. so enjoy.....

u said you have files of upto 2mb .use the internet to share .as far as printing goes there r three ways:
1)get to a photographer -u can go to a photography shop nearby and get them printed.they do that it's easy.it's the same shop for normal cameras too
2)if u have kodak easy share in ur camera use it to share n print
3)u can use a self printer.u get one of those in the markey for usb 2.0 conectivity to ur camera or computer
