I broke the glass monitor (LCD) of my HP Digi Cam R507. I stay in India. How can I get it repaired and at wha?

No you dont need any store. Its your fault you broke the glass monitor in the first palce. There is no use in crying over spilt milk. You can break the LCD of everybody else's HP digicams just to be happy that everybody suffers the same as you are.

This happened to my girlfriends camera 2 weeks ago. We rang the HP helpdesk (visit www.hp.com to get the nearest helpdesk to you) and they checked to see if it was under warranty. So have the serial number which is by the battery ready when you ring them. They check the serial number and if it is in warranty they will send you out a replacement camera via UPS (which we received on tuesday) and they make preparations with the carrier to return the broken camera.
If your camera is out of warranty, you will find it very difficult and very expensive to get the LCD replaced, the cost of a repair job would probably outweigh the cost of the camera. Either way ring HP and they will put you rihgt, their customer support is excellent to work with.
