How many pictures can I store on a CompactFlash (CF), MultiMedia (MMC), or Secure Digital (SD) memory card?

In my Kodak camera.

Dear, it depends upon two things...
1. Memory Capacity of the Card
2. Average size of the Image Files

For example, If you have a 512 MB CF/MMC/SD card, and the average image size is about 1 MB, (assuming that the images are shhot at fairly high resolution); you would be able to store approx 500 images on the card.
Hope it helps!

It depends on the size of the memory card and the resolution you set your camera at.

Depends on the size card...usually 60 pictures

All memory cards have a specific storage capacity; 128 MB, 256 MB, 512 MB, 1 GB and so on. Greater the capacity more photos you can store.

Secondly digital cameras allow you to store pictures in different resolutions and quality settings. Lower the resolution and lower the quality setting more you can store.

Usually the camera manual will have a table showing the number of images that can be stored in a card at various combinations.

So there is no single answer to this question. I have a 256 MD card and I shoot at 2560x1920 resolution at High settings which gives a filesize of little over 2 MB. So I can normally store 100 images in my card.

Hope this helps.
