Why photos saved in CD can't be viewed in a CD player?

Photos taken by digital cameras are stored in a
CD.They can be viewed in PC,but not so in a CD player. Why?

um, cd players don't have a screen.

you might need a screen to assist you there

There is no screen on a CD player! Different formats. CD's players are set to read music not data files.

A CD Player doesn't have a (big enough) screen...

no lcd sceen to view it on

Are you serious? Does your cd player have a screen to view the pictures? If not, then how could you expect to view pictures?

cd players dont have screens to the photos on a cd. It will say unreconizable.

probably because a cd player does not have a screen

Because a CD player only plays music files. CD players don't have a screen and you can't view pictures. If you want something that will show your photos then get an iPod image viewer. It's just like the MP3 Player but this one you can look at photos.

Oh, come ON!!! It's a CD player, not a DVD player!

CD Player Doesn't support the photo formats it may nly support music or video files.

if u just burn photo on CD like data.... it will not play on CD player use your CD writer software with option "make a photo CD" it will definitely work.......use Nero 5 or higher version
