I need a digital camera that stores a lot of pictures and i need the camera to display what the picture looks like when I take it! Als I need to be abled to buy it at Walmart for under 50 bucks this is very important i've been wanting this for ages and now that I have 50 bucks i am going to buy one it you have any idea about my quetion I would really appreciate it if you can help me and no smart comments but honest and useful comments!

When shopping for your camera at WalMart (also check Sam's Club or Costco) find a camera that will accept SD memory cards (the most popular and cost effective memory cards). That will assure you can save a lot of images at their highest resolution.

Second, be sure that the camera has at least a 3x optical zoom. Forget any claims of "digital" zoom capacity. It is all smoke and mirrors. Also avoid cameras that offer "VGA quality" images ... they are nothing but toys (usually they will attempt to get you to purchase their product by including things like MP3 and camcorder capabilities.

Of the currently listed digital cameras on the WalMart site, I can only recommend the Sanyo (see link below). I think you may want to save up another $40 because it will be well worth it in the long run.

fhotoace is sooo right....but....you also need to get a camera with a megapixel of 6 or higher. This way your pictures have a high resolution so you can print a larger picture that wont come out fuzzy looking.
