I bought a Poloroid digital camera that was under $100 for a wedding, and it was a disaster (the camera, I mean)! When I go to the store to exchange it, how does that work? I think you need to have all of the cords/memory cards/manuals in the box, with the sales receipt. If I remember correctly, they will refund your money. At the worst, you will get a store credit equal to the camera's value.
Your question seems to imply that the camera is under 2 weeks old, if that is the case, the store should value your return.
