Digital camera storage on the computer?

I have a digital camera in which i can upload my photos to the computer, but then it stores the photos which uses up a lot of disk space.....how or is there any program where it saves the photos but doesn't store/save them to the hard drive? if you know of a program, let me know, and make sure the program fits for any type of camera. if you need info, i have a kodak digital camera.

Seriously, you want to save your photos but you don't want it to take any space? WTF? Do this:
Find a hammer.
Put your camera on the sidewalk.
Smash the camera.
Now you don't have to worry about your pictures taking up too much precious hard drive space, even though you can buy a several hundred gigabyte hard drive for less than a hundred bucks.
Seriously, if you don't want the photos, just delete them.

Well, you can always upload them to a file sharing website like Photobucket.com and you can pay for unlimited uploading capabilities. Then just delete the photos from your hard drive. As long as you know the password you're set to access them whenever you'd like. Or you could always buy an external hard drive to store them without using your computers hard drive. Those are a bit pricey but can be helpful. They list them from time to time on Overstock.com for a decent price.

You can get a really big external hard drive and store them there. I just bought a 400GB Seagate on eBay for a little over $100. You can also copy them to CD's or DVD's (better) and delete them from your hard drive. If they are really important to you, you should save them in at least two places and ways.

"It's not a question of if your hard drive is going to crash, it's when!"

you have kodak camera, yet question is to save images, yet not save images, after a year or so there would be several images using space but you hard drive should have ample room, if not you may need new drive or second drive added, for now suggest copying backing up onto cd/ dvd's just in case,
Kodak has Easyshare web album online for some images,

but does 12 month free and usage required,

there are other places like here at yahoo with albums online,

and yahoo flickr,

...note that they can crash and lose images, and are not responsible for lose, so backup to cd disc,

clean up hard drive, run scan disk error checker, and
empty temp folders and browser cache cokies,
ananlyze with defragmenter, defrag if (red) fragmented,
..

I would burn my photos from the camera to a photo CD. Then only put the photos that I wanted to edit onto the computer. That way, with the photo CD, you can go back later and upload more to your computer. At least you will have a backup of your photos.
