When you put a memory card in the SD/MMC card slot, how do you get the camera to store stuff on it? Before you can store any files to the SD card, you must first format the card:
1. Make sure the camera is on and press the menu button to display the menu screen.
2. Move the joystick RIGHT to show the setup menu and move it down to the second page to highlight the FORMAT option, and press the joystick in to confirm.
3. Use the joystick to select YES or NO, and press in to confirm.
4. If you select NO, it will return to the present operation mode. Press the MENU button again to exit the menu.
5. If you select YES, the formatting begins and returns to the present operation mode after the process is complete.
To store pictures, video, or voice recordings to the SD card:
1. Make sure the power is on and in PLAYBACK mode.
2. Press the MENU button and move the joystick downward to highlight the COPY TO CARD option.
3. Press the joystick to confirm, the process will begin.
4. After the process is complete, it will turn back to the playback menu automatically. there is no RIGHT with the joystick on this camera, but thanks anyway. Report It
The camera uses the card as a secondary storage so you
can copy photos from the in-camera memory to the memory
card through the in-camera menus.
The problem is that the camera software cannot easily
download pictures from the SD/MMC card. It can be done
but you'll have to trick the camera a little bit and that is not
good. It looks more the DXG guys wanted you to use a
card reader instead. |
