Digital camera drop off at drug stores?

This may be a leap, but does anyone know if you can drop off film in one state and arrange for someone to pick it up in another? Ex. My brother and his wife were here visiting this weekend, we took lots of pics that would take way too long to send over email, so I was wondering if they could take the camera to their local Walgreens or CVS in Watertown, NY (5 hours away from me), get the pics developed, and then I pick them up at my local Walgreens or CVS here in Brooklyn?

if its a disposable camera then no you cant, you would have to pick them up where ever you drop them off. But if its a sigital camera you can upload them to the walgreens website and send however many pictures you want to anystore in america and they can pick them up.

IF, and that's a big if because we are talking about film, they're able to do it they're probably going to charge you extra for it. (They have to release the negatives) You're best off having your brother develop the film at his Walgreens and then sending it media mail through the post office. Since you both live in the same state, and not too far from each other, the media rate will be really cheap and the pictures will get there in a day, two at the most.

If the pictures are digital, then sure, you can have them developed at another pharmacy. I know for a fact that Walgreens does this with no problem.

When you get the film processed have it put onto CD and send him the CD's... Walgreens should have that service. Or go to a Ritz/Kitz/Wolf's They will just do it all in one shot...After the film is developed... If it's on a memory card it's even easier to transfer... Call around for prices and turnaround times. CD's are lighter than sending prints and prints could get damaged in the mail...

have your film developed and have a cd made , go online order the prints you want your brother to have from Kodak and have them delivered to the drug store closest to him an Eckerd's is best ( RiteAid after today) though I suspect walgreen's and others would work

1. Keep the camera -- don't give it to your brother

2. Have your photofinisher make two sets of prints

3. Mail your brother one set

OR:

1. Give your brother the camera

2. Have him go to his photofinisher and get two sets of prints made

3. Have him mail you back the camera and the prints and the negatives

Whichever sounds most sensible to you.
