What's A Good Store To Buy A Lower Priced Digital Camera?

I have it pretty much narrowed down that I want as much megapixels and optical zoom that about $100 can get me.
I looked at Staples and everything is higher. A clearance camera was about $150.
Wal-Mart has a lot of choices for about $100 and so does eBay.
I just have this preconceived notion that everything at Wal-Mart is substandard quality and of course with eBay if you get a seller with a good rating you can sometimes fetch a good deal, but it's still somewhat of a gamble since they are not a "brick and mortar" store
If it's got a decent warranty for say a year, I don't really see anything wrong with buying a "discount camera".
Any suggestions on where to buy?

If you have access to a military base, go to the local BX/PX. I got a 8.0MP digital camera (Vivtar) there fore $139.00 It works great!

Wal-Mart's fine. At least you have a 90 return policy. eBay is a crapshoot.

find the camera you want..then go to yahoo shoppijng and type in the product name and it brings up the list of cameras from diffrent retailers and you can even sort out the cheapest price to the highest.

If you getting a camera I wouldn't cheap out because you would like it to last along time. But I really recomend newegg for all my purchases.

Its great bedcause you can sort your results by different criteria. Such as MP or price, or manufacturer.

Amazon.com usually has the best prices.

I would check out tiger direct they have a great selection, and they also have refurb items which are a steal!
