Could I have schizophrenia?

I don't know why, but when I go to stores I always think they are watching me and that the cameras are following me because they think I'm gonna steal something. Is this normal?

i have the same exact feeling. everytime I go shopping i think that people are thinking that i am stealling something. I have no idea why but I do. I worry about the way I look to other people in the store. I wonder if they think I look suspicious. It is so overwhelming. I start to sweat and get red in the face. I suffer from extreme social anxiety so Im guessing thats why I feel this way. I dont think you are schizophrinic though. My mom is and she does not act this way in stores. I think it is just you over thinking and always worrying about what other people are thinking of you. Its like you are the center of everyones attention, but your really not. I feel for you. When I was very little (7-8 or so) and in stores (before they had TV monitors) I used to get very aware and afraid of the clerks who seemed to me to watch my every move. This paranoia was because I wanted to pick up merchandise and take it but didn't have any money. I knew stealing was wrong but was afraid of getting caught. They probably were watching me and are probably watching you. I am still very aware of the TV monitors in stores even though I have the money to buy things now.The stores are just as paranoid about you as you are about them. This is not schizophrenia. It is normal.

Me to! I seem to feel and look guilty for no reason. I know i would fail a lie detector test just because i am like this, not because i am fibbing.

That's why i don't believe lie detector tests work in people like me.
