74,900pesos or 6,242pesos for 12months with free 2gb flash drive (add 3k upgrade 1Gb ram to 2Gb ram) Thanks guys for the replies, but i still need more comments. im a college student and im a multimedia student (actually, its my course) and some of our works dealt with 3d graphics/applications like Maya, autocad, etc. So what you think? My first choice would be the HP but with reservations. HP tends to put out a nice machine but you pay more because of the name. It has the advantage of already having 2GB on the mother board so you will be able to use Vista with minimal issues. Personally, I would take this machine, rip off Vista and return it to XP since Vista will be an issue until SP1 comes out....and that is at a minimum.
The Dell would be the second choice. It has some nice specifications and would have been my first choice if it either came with 2 GB on the motherboard OR a free upgrade to 2GB.
The Acer? I would pass on that since Acer does not have the best rep as a long lasting machine.
You might want to check out the Compaq brand. Compaq is owned by HP but you are not paying premium for the HP name.
Good luck,
Z
Good luck,
Z At the Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS website, it shows that your built in video card will have 256MB of memory with a 64 bit interface. It does not call out 64MB of memory. I will include the link so you can read about it.

Good luck,

I prefer DELL , because I have one and I can tell you it's good
But , If you want lower quality , then choose HP
the last one is ACER I like the HP or the dell.
I like what the HP has so i would probably get that. Buy Dell with XP. Vista still has problem. Get An AMD Athlon XP processor laptop. I mean one of the chips by AMD not Intel. Intel is just big money, AMD are the up and comers, and are in my opinion so much better in so many things. Those AMD chips have been dual core for longer than the Intel chips, and give better performance in most cases. And are cheaper. Really a win win win situation. id go with dell full upgrades,
second would be hp From quickly glancing at the specs, i would go with the hp one.
You will most likely pay goodmoney for such a laptop, I would buy a desktop for the same money and your pc will be faster, with more ram and a hell of alot more harddrive space. if u need performance like hardcore gaming I think u might want to get the HP it's way better in performane both on the processor and the GPU I'm currently trying to get it also but my problem is I just got my pavilion dv6291ea but it's with 1 GB RAM and nvidia Go 7400 graphics card, that's the only diffrence HP will be the fast one among these three with 2GHz chip!
DELL with XP-Professional would give you the most operating system, and with XP, the operating system gives you faster the Vista in HP.
ACER has less RAM, but better display!
I will pick DELL for faster system!
I will pick ACER for better display and price!
If you are thinking about upgrading the RAM to 2G with above two, then pick HP! dell, definatly go for the dell 630 if i werw you, ill go with the HP, because HP laptops are good. next is dell, then acer. |
