What are the best rechargeble batteries?

I have some sony Cycle Energy batteries and they last about 75minutes of digital video on my vivitar 8400 camera. its a battery eater i wonder is there a better battery? AA battery.

Regular NiMH batteries slowly loses its charge overtime. Sanyo has improved on the regular NiMH batteries with the new Eneloop NiMH batteries - which has a much lower self discharge rate.

AA's come in ratings of mha (milli-amp-hours). The larger the number, the longer they should last.

A number of brand name (Sony, GE, Sanyo, Rayovac, etc, those with a warranty) batteries are now in the 2500 to 2700mha rating.

Be careful of "off" brands (like Cycle Energy) claiming more than 2700mha but deliver a lot less.

My dig camera went from 50 photos to 350 shots when I went to the 2500's.

I buy maha 2700's
go to yahoo search
it see where to buy them
they are great

i think the best would be the kodak ones.
i have them for my camera...
and although they take a LONG time to charge
they last even longer
i am on the same batteries that i have had since about 1 month ago,
and i use it practically everyday!!
hope i helped!!!

any batteries work well. just recharge your rechargeable batteries on slow charging process not a fast charger. in such condition, fast charging process will lessen the reliability inside the composition of battery.

2800 mili amp AA any brand will do but 2800 is the highest you will find
