I don't know much about that particular camera and I looked it up and none of the specs. said what type of battery it takes... Is it rechargeable? If it is..it needs to be recharged BEFORE you can use it.... Look in the instruction manual before you start to panic... Or if it takes regular batteries try new ones.. If indeed it is broken the store does have an obligation to exchange it for a new one, so keep your receipt and packaging. In the future if you are buying a camera, ask the salesperson to take it out of the box, put in the batteries and make sure it works.... have it repaired |
