What kind of Camcorder do I need to purchase? |
I've been researching this for months and have not made a purchase yet. I'm looking to buy a camcorder. I want it to be light-weight, not use any tapes or cartridges. I would like to use an SD card and have the capability to connect to the computer using a USB. I don't want it to drain the battery/batteries. Cost is a factor also. Not too expensive. Would like quality video image. Photo capability not interested since I already have a digital camera. I want to use the camcorder to create home movies. Any advice helpful. I have an Aiptek 4100 for home movies. It records on SD flash cards and fits in my shirt pocket. Go buy the MOST EXPENSIVE one out there, because by the time you get it home and out of the box, it will be obsolete anyway. SONY....they are the most reliable ! Provided you understand their working config., pixels, digital. They have memory card where you can download into your computer. Ask the dealer for anything you don't understand...he will tell you all...provided with the manual..!! I'm not an expert on camcorders, but I use consumer reports a lot and they are great. They do evert test possible and rate them according to price quality, etc. |
