I have an easyshare DX6340 digital camera and It won't turn on. The little red light doesn't go on; nothing, it just doesn't work. I checked the batteries, they're full. Nothing on the kodak site helped. Is there any other way I can fix this and if not, how do I salvage the picture I took? what kind of batteries do you have? If you bought cheap batteries that could be it, they don't even turn dig cameras on. is there battery acid leaking? that could be a huge problem.
call up Kodak tech support and they could help you over the phone and run trouble shooting with you(I can them all the time for work and can be very helpful)
If the picture is on a memory card it will be fine. does it have a memorycard, if yes get a card reader and use that to get the pic if not take it apart and look for the memory stick I use a Kodak Z700 Easy Share digital. It has a USB-2 cord to transfer pictures to the computer. You do not need to turn on the camera to get the pictures into your computer --- just plug it into a USB socket and the Windows Camera Wizard will turn on and recover the pictures.. |
