Will it work?

Im getting a digital camera today that uses rechargable batteries. im getting the camera and then going strait to a party where i plan on taking picture. will i be able to take pictures since im gonna get the camera right b4 the party?

The batteries may have a little charge but not a lot. Pick up some regular batteries when you buy the camera the sales clerk can tell you what kind.

the batteries really need to charge for a day but depending on the camera and the exact batteries it takes you might be able to slip some AA's into it and go right to work . Check with the store where you are buying it or if you are using one of the mass merchants RTFM (read the freakin' manual)

If your camera takes AA batteries buy Energizer Lithium batteries. Check with the battery salesman. It's always a mistake not reading your owners manual first to learn how to operate the camera.

No. They need to be charged first.
Get a set of good regular AA's first. Like vintage says. the energizer Lithium ones are good.

they'll last 100 shots or so, maybe more depending on the camera. So, no problem for the party.

like the first dude said try and put aa's in there my mom had a camera like that we didnt use chargeable battiers we just used AA's .
