Need to connect my u.s. electronics to power when im in China?!?

I will be visiting china for 5 weeks. i leave next week and am taking some electronics from here in the united states.

where can i get an "adapter" or whatever they are called?

mainly i will be needed wall power for my battery recharger for my digital camera. and mainly for my macbook laptop.

links or something would be helpful. i dont know what name to search them under at sites like bestbuy.com or circuitcity.com

i don't think you need a converters because their plug its self will change automatically. when i was in china i just just the use charger i got from US. i kno things like hair dryer, game boys etc can not be plug in but camera, loptop and ipod should be fine because i charge them all the time when i went to china. and also my dad goes to china every year and he doesn't seems to have a problem with it.

At Brookstone, there is a little package of adapters that have specifics about all parts of the world.
Here is the link --> http://www.brookstone.com/store/product....

You will need a voltage converter (they use 220) and a plug adapter.

Here's a list (and pictures) of the plug adapters you'll need. As stated above, you can get them at Brookstone, or any store that sells travel supplies.

They are called converters. You can get them at wal-mart, Target or Radio Shack. MAKE SURE THE ONE YOU BUY HAS THE PROPER CONNECTION FOR CHINA. I'd recommend one from wal-mart that has all the adapter plugs with the converter. This mean you can use it in any country in the world. Should be under $40.

Here is a link to give you an idea of what you are looking for, but I think this one is with the European 2 prong plug.

i think you can get converters at electronic stores. but i just re-buy everything everytime i go back to china.
it's a lot safer. and then when i have to come back, i just donate them to the people who need them.

AznJenny 28 gave you a good answer, all laptops and almost all digital camera chargers will accept 100-240v 50-60hz inputs. Just look carefully at the little box on your adaptor/charger cord, if it says 100-240v 50-60hz input you will not need any voltage converters. If it says 110v input, then you will need a converter. You may need a plug adaptor, and this chart will show you the types they use in China:http://www.kropla.com/electric2.htm
Have a good trip.
