Batteries.!!?

why is it that batteries in a Digital Camera don,t last long?? i,m forever changing mine!!

If it can take AA or AAA batteries, try Eveready Lithium ULTIMATE, they last about 7 times as long as Duracell. VERY cheap from '7 day shop'..

Buy rechargeable or batteries specifically for digital cameras. Try using the viewfinder rather than the LCD screen to preserve battery life. The flash will drain them as well.

If they are rechargeable it may be that you haven't charged them sufficiently. If tghey are new you will need to charge them for at least 12 hours to get them fully active!

AA Nimh rechargeable batteries are obtainable in capacities from about 1700Milliamp hours to at least 2500 mah. They are "green" ie they can be chucked away in the bin when defunct. Always charge Nicads and Nimh batteries as slowly as you can and they will last indefinitely- I have Nicads more than twenty years old and they are still in good order because of this. (Charger rate is 50ma for about 14 hrs.) All these quick rate (Half hour) chargers will probably clap out your batteries if you forget to turn off in time. Buy a Delta Peak Cut Off charger which will allow you to put the batteries on charge and forget about them - these are now more readily available usually with four batteries. You will probably find that 2500mah batteries wil solve your problem. Tomol .
