I'm looking for a quality battery for the T-Mobile MDA as a spare... I've bought batteries for my digital camera from eBay and they last half as much as original.
thank you well the problem is that almost any AFTERMARKET battery of the same power (in your case 1250mah) will be lesser than the original, so you should expect that. if you follow ebay closely, you will find a seller with that same battery, i believe WIZA16, will sell a battery with a rated 1750mah. at the moment i cannot find the seller, maybe they sold out for a while, but i'm looking to get that battery too. the reason i like that one is because you will not have to change the door to the device, it basically fits stock. now there is a 2500mah and/or 2800mah extended life battery for sale on ebay, the only problem with that is you have to change the battery door on your device, making the unit thicker due to the larger battery.
if you find a seller with good rating, they obviously dont lie about their products and will not usually lie too much if you email them and ask about comparison of their batt to the original.
another thing you might consider is to just get it from t-mobile direct, its like $30, but you'll know you are getting an original product.
keep an eye out and see ifyou find that 1750mah battery on ebay, i really believe it will last AT LEAST as much as the original, if not more. I have had excellent service from ebatts:
