And small enough to fit in a handbag. With a battery charger and batteries. Up to 拢150 ideally. For Mum's present. She is 75+ and not into complicated gadgets.

The best ease of a digi camera is the Canon Powershot A712is. It is great and fun to use.

I've never seen a digital camera more simple to operate than the basic Kodak Easyshare.

At that price,there'd be a wide range to choose from.Most will fill your requirements,being simple to use,and have a removable memory card..You could use standard batteries or replaceable rechargeable ones (my personal preference) or You could get a model with a built in rechargeable battery. this tends to be an aesthetic option,as the battery pack is slimmer,helping the manufacturer keep size and weight down.
choose a model with as big a megapixel rating as possible for Your budget..higher number= better print resolution for photos.also,the higher number tends to indicate a recent model-anything around 2Mp tends to be rather primitive at present.It's a balance-You want something with an up to date spec,but not requiring a degree to operate.I can't recommend a particular brand..choose one with a good sized screen (2" or more.)

We have a Kodak and love it. It has a memory card plus internal memory. You can still use the camera if the card is out, like if you wanted to get prints for her and she still wanted to use the camera. Ours is a couple years old. I think it's a CD model. they still have models that start with a "C". Also you can get one for barely over $120 USD. that is a 4 megapixel. There are alot of nice ones. The camera person recommended Kodak to us. It has worked out great. Small size too. Merry Christmas!
