My wife recently bought a digital camera/camcorder, and it drains regular batterys really fast, anyone else have this problem, if so. How did you fix this problem, thanx? You really can't fix this problem. The only way to "fix" it is to get a longer lasting battery. This, of course, won't actually make the batteries drain any slower, it will just give you more time before they die. If you are using AA batteries or the like, try energizer's e2 lithium batteries. If you are using rechargeable lithium ion battery packs, find the biggest one you can find that fits your camera. Having a spare will also help. Also, try turning off the LCD and turning off the camera instead of putting it in idle mode. Hope this helps! Is it an Erecson by chance? I had one and got fed up and took it back to the store. If it is digital it will eat batteries fast, best suggestion I can give is to buy a battery charger that should help the life of the battery and you some battery money lol. Good luck!! Camcorders always comes with a smallest charge capacity battery when it is newly bought. It normally last for 1/2 to almost 1 hour of use. It last longer when you are not using the LCD monitor. Buy a bigger charge capacity battery if you want to use your cam for longer hours without charging the battery. |
