I have a digital camera that i am trying to fix, but when i put it back together, it only stays on for a couple seconds and shows a blurry image. Then i have to take out and re put in the batteries to even see that much again. What could the causes of this be and what can I do to fix it?(I will not send it in for repair) You are rather amazing. Have you attended any camera repair classes?
You are dealing with a very sophisticated piece of electronics and hardware. It is not a toaster.
Either buy a new camera or be willing to have it repaired by an authorized camera repair center. try NEW batterys! Generally, weak or disposable batteries will cause the behavior you describe. Digital cameras are high drain devices. Try fully charged rechargeable NiMH batteries and see if you get the same behavior. It sounds to me like the batteries die as the focus motors begin to engage, draining the batteries. Do not use disposable alkaline or lithium batteries with digital cameras. Rechargeable NiMH batteries are better at handling high current drain. |
