I think I broke my dads camera?!?!?!?! HELLLLP? |
I was randomly looking at pictures (which I shouldn't have been doing.... I kind of *broke* two of his other expensive digital cameras, and I had to repay for this one.. expensive one) and I thought I'd download them on the computer for my dad. It's a sony digital cyber-shot camera... 7.2 mega pixels... it says Carl Zeiss on it... Anyway, below the screen there is this little opening thing that says "A/V OUT" ... I opened it to see if I could plug anything into it and if it would fit... okay, so there are two things that you could plug in, the thing on the right was something that was rectangular shaped. I grabbed the grey wire and plugged something into it that fitted perfectled... and I attatched the other connecting thing to my computer which also fit perfectly. After I pulled the plugs out noticing that nothing was happening, I tried turing the camera on and it wouldn't turn on!!!!!!! The batteries are not low at all, and my dad can't find out. Any idea of whats wronnnng??????????? and yes I read the manual and i got nothing from it....i need to fix it!! i already broke two of his cameras You should go confess to your dad right away about what you did. You could be worrying over a simple matter that your dad can fix. My wife had issues with her computer once that was a simple matter of shutting down a program she didn't know was running. Until she got me to help she worried herself over it for about an hour. Girl, you need to get help for this problem of yours, messing with people's stuff if you know you're not supposed to! But try disconnecting everything from the camera (any wires you have connected, disconnect them). Is there a power switch on the camera? You might try removing/reinserting the battery (make sure it's off when you try this). haven't you learned your lesson from the two previous times, gotta face the music. gotta have to tell him that you were playing with his camera equipment. shouldn't you have your own camera if you want to be taking photos instead of your dad's Place it exactly where you found it and act like you know nothing about it. LOL! I find kind of funny when you say, Carl Zeiss. He was the creator of one of the best, if not the best camera lenses in the world. Wow that sux I would take it to Best Buy, they have the Geek Squad. If you tell them what you did and bring the cord that you plugged into it they will probably fix it or tell what's wrong and if you have a warranty they will send it in to the company to get it fixed. |
