Which batteries are best? |
My digital camera eats batteries I want to get rechargeable ones but dont know what to get. I think 2500 mamps is what i should go with but i'm not too sure If they are AA batteries get some rechargeable nickel metal hydride (Ni-MH) batteries 2000 - 2500 mAh should be fine for your camera. Remember that these will not hold a charge for long after the first charge or two so use them a couple of times and you will find they last for ages. Any type of lithium battery is good. I know what you're going through. I'm lucky if my alkaline batteries last 30 minutes in my digital camera. take your camera to a camera shop and ask them. get ones that you can recharge. The ones I use (and they last longer than most) are Uniross 1300mAh rechargeable. The first time you use a rechargeable battery use it up completely before recharging it fully - that way you prolong the life of the battery. And buy 4 batteries so you'll always have a spare set ready. NEVER get the rechargable ones.. they can leak in your camera. get the lithium ones. :] they seem to work the BEST. Duracell has a nickle metal hydrate battery that are recommend for digital cameras also if your camera has a view finder and a LCD option use the view finder more because the LCD screens will eat the power. They sell a pack with a 15 minute charger and 4 rechargeable batteries Steve f, Has got it right. f$%* rechargeables. You really want to carry a charger with you? nah.... get lithium they are the best out there they cost a lil more but its worth it I would recommend 2500 NiMH or higher. long term use (up to 3 years): rechargeable batteries 2500mA. In addition to the answers above that are helpful, try to turn of your LCD monitor as much as possible or set it to turn off after a short interval like 10 seconds. The LCD eats batteries. Duracell or Sony It's a waste of time and money using anything other than rechargeables. If your camera uses AA size cells, then go for 2500mAh NickelMetalHydride (NMH). They will last for ages, but they do lose their charge over a few weeks even if not used. Just charge them every few weeks. They do not have the memory effect thet NiCds have. You should be able to pick up a set of batteries and a charger for about 拢20. |
