What is wrong with my camera?

I own a FujiFilm FinePix F650 digital camera and lately it hasn't been working. I'm pretty sure that the problem is the battery, which is a FujiFilm NP-40N Lithium Ion Battery Pack [[rechargable]]. The camera works when plugged into the charger, but as soon as I unplug it, it automatically shuts down and won't start back up until I plug it back in. Please help!

If you've had it for a while, rechargeable batteries can eventually go bad and lose charge quickly.

it really seems like you need to buy a new batt, how long have you not using it?
An Li -Ion battery needs good maintenance especially in recharging methods

Sounds like a battery to me. Go to batteries.com. You can pick one up for under $15

i agree with every one so far,,,,,,buy a new battery

second the motion.
