I find talking to complete strangers about this stuff eaiser. What do I put in the carry on/purse and my suitcase. Here are the items I am trying to figure out..
Hairbrush
Shaving razor
Gum
iPod
Disposable camera
Digital Camera
Battery charger
Batteries
Cell phone
Tooth brush
I have a very small (travel size) stick of deoderant, travel size body wash and shampoo and small thing of toothpaste.
If the toothpaste fits in the bag as the other 3 do I just put it in or do I have to put it in another bag?
Thanks ahead of time. If it's a short trip and you have no transits (risk of lost luggage), then pack everything into your case. You might like to keep reresher towels, comb and breath fresheners in your handbag with you on board.

iPod - if you can you it on the flight, put in your handbag
Disposable camera - case (unless you get a window seat and want to take photos)
Digital Camera - case if a short flight with no transit

Put all these in your bathroom bag and pack in your suitcase.
It's a pain lugging heaby hand luggage. I try to put everything in my suitcase. have a very small (travel size) stick of deoderant, travel size body wash and shampoo and small thing of toothpaste.
<< each of these has to be less than 3 oz and fit in ONE qt size clear zip loack bag,
all the items above u can put in your carry on, probably not shaving razor,(just in case, b/c its sharp)

have fun traveling ^^ You can look on the website for your airline or call them on the phone. For your carry-on, your liquids must be 3 oz or less and all of them must fit into a quart size baggie. Liquids are: lipstick, chapstick, cologne, mouthwash, ect.
I suggest the body wash, shampoo ect go into your checked luggage, along with the razor
