I need it to charge AA batteries. I'll mainly use the batteries for my digital camera, although I will probably find other uses as I go along.
I saw one at Target for $20 and was thinking about getting it, but I want some more information. Its was energizer (sp??) and it came with four rechargeable batteries. It was up by the checkout lines if that makes a difference.
Thanks. I have the Energizer 15 minute charger. I've been using the batteries that came with it in my digital camera for two years now. The only thing I've noticed is that the batteries don't hold a charge quite as long as they used to, which is a totally normal thing with rechargables (that's why car batteries eventually wear out). Two years on the same four batteries is great, though.
The only thing to look for when you're getting a charger is how long it takes to charge. I've seen them (just bought one for my sister for Christmas) ranging from 16 hours to 15 minutes. I guess if you're good at planning ahead, then a charger that takes hours isn't bad, otherwise get the 15 minute one. Do not buy regular rechargable batteries for a digital camera...you will be recharging them constantly. Check with the manufacturer for a rechargable battery...or try to find a NI-Cl battery for it(they are rechargable. |
