I am going to be going on vacation soon, and my digital camera goes through many batteries. I only use my camera for special events and don't really mind buying a couple of batteries now and then. But on vacation, I want to take many pictures, and its gonna cost me an arm and a leg to get all the batteries i need. Not only that, I don't know how many I will use, and I'll either end up getting too many or too little.
I was looking at these rechargeable ones. Can someone please explain these to me? I heard that Li-Ion is the best, but since my camera has disposable batteries, those are gonna be hard to get ahold of.
And are these NiHM batteries good? Would be it better if i got these instead of buying regular digital camera batteries?
Thanks soo much =D I use NiMH batteries all of the time, and like the fact that they seem to last a bit longer than regular disposable batteries, and are rechargable many times over.
Sams Club just had the energizer recharger and 2 packs of (aa & aaa) batteries for less than $20.
Once you have a recharger, it doesn't really matter what brand of NiMH batteries you buy, they should all work fine at recharging, but their life might be more/less than the brand names. (your mileage may vary). You have to buy the batteries that are made for digital cameras. Check your operators manual to see if any of the rechargable ones can be used. And you would also have to buy the recharger. Neither one of those are better than the other. They are made to be used by only certain objects. |
