Can someone recomend a good digital camera?

I would like one that's not too terrible about eating up batteries quickly and costing around $150.

i got kodak easyshare c310 for about $80 and it works great

i really like my canon powershot a85. you can find many options in the powershot series, i.e. pixel sizes, lenses, etc.

I picked up my Fuji FinePix F7000 on EBay for $150. It was factory reconditioned, but it was brand new, really. It is very versatile and easy to use, and goes up to 6.2 mega pixels. It really delivers high quality pics, has loads of settings, including video, and I love it.

I don't think it is available by retail in the US, so you might want to check eBay.

I'd recommend any Fuji FinePix camera-they are all excellent.

try circuit city they have an online sale; and before u buy read the customer's reviews before taking your pick.

canon /power shot / 7,1 mega pixel/

Nikon Coolpix 3200........good camera and it's not that expensive.

currently anything tat is a Canon is a good digital camera...

you can't go wrong with anything Olympus...it's the best

I think the pentax M-10 is got a very good review, have a look at that one or go to

www,pricerunner.com and search for digital cameras.

Good luck !

Nikon Coolpix 5900
It works great, costs around 150 bucks on ebay and is a dream to use
Battteries last 250 shots or so and are rechargable L ions

Nikon Coolpix 4600 (4 megapixel) or 5600 (5 megapixel plus video) are both under $200, even including a decent sized memory card (512K to 1 GB). I have many digital cameras and I am never disappointed with the results of my 4600. AND - it uses "AA" batteries instead of expensive special batteries. It's about the size of a pack of cigarettes, too. There are newer cameras that I am not as familiar with in that price range, but since you said "good, small, cheap," this is one (two) I can really recommend from experience. There are newer Coolpix cameras, but I admit that I am not familiar with all of their features. I'd say to just be sure you get one that has an optical viewfinder, though, because you can't always see the image in an LCD viewfinder.

Here are a few samples. These pics were taken with the Coolpix 4600 with no tricks or gimmicks or filters or anything. They had some "very minor adjustments" in Photoshop. If you bought this camera today, you would be able to go out and snap these pictures yourself.
