My digital camera won't work!?

After taking two or three photos the power goes. I've tried the recommended (originally) batteries and different batteries(since) . Is this repairable? Many thanks.

What kind of camera is it? I had a camera once that just took a lot of juice and if I didn't turn it off between photos, it'd power down in a very short time.

There must be something wrong with the camera if it is draining batteries like this - contact the supplier (or if it is a bit older - the manufacturer) and see if they can help.

Take it back to the shop / manufacturer - it sounds like a batter problem........8-))

You aren't giving enough info, such as make of camera, what type of battery(s) etc. If the camera is still within it's warranty time, take it back and tell them that if they don't fix it or can't fix it, you want a replacement and don't be fobbed off.
I have a little Samsung pocket digital camera that uses a lithium battery that charges up in about an hour and on that charge, gives me around 100 shots using flash and zoom. If you are using a camera that uses AA sized carbon-zinc or similar, get some rechargeable lithium batteries (equivalent sized) and a charger. They don't cost the earth and you will notice the difference. In future, please supply more info so that answerers can help you more. In short, don't be vague.
