| *SoulEyes Photography>>>Digital Camera battery |
If you were going trekking in central america for a month and wanted to take a digital camera, which one....? |
...would you take?? sorry- i meant camcorder not camera I'm not sure about the camcorder...but I would think if you have no access to electricity then the most logical type of camera to take would be one that uses AA size batteries. Camcorder? You're probably in the wrong answers section then. But I would bring along a solar powered battery charger, if you won't have access to electricity or a whole lot of lithium batteries designed for your camcorder. Generally speaking, for size, Sony makes some very small miniDV camcorders, followed by Canon. Panasonic makes some of the best miniDV camcorders, but they are a little bit bigger. If you need waterproof, I suggest looking for an underwater case or underwater bag, which will have an optically clear glass and offer water protection. An underwater bag will be cheaper. I also strongly suggest bringing lots of dessicant. If you vave access to a vehicles power supply, get a charger for that. You would want a very fast charger as your time available may be limited. In places where there is no power supply, the camera brand doesn't matter much. Just make sure it operates on AA baterries and carry a good amount of battery with you. |
