Well I have a Kodak C533 and it won't turn on .. In it at the moment are Energizer rechargeable ones, 2500 mAH, ultra high power, high energy NiMH, all that. But when I turn it on, the light flashes green a couple of times, then red and won't turn on at all. Now it may be completely my fault and I'm getting wrong batteries, but I thought I'd just check with people who might actually know. I thought these ones would work .. In the manual it has the following under power: 2 Kodak oxy-alkaline digital camera batteries AA ZR6; 2 AA lithium digital camera batteries; 2 AA alkaline batteries, 2 Kodak NiMH rechargeable digital camera batteries AA; 1 Kodak lithium digital camera battery CRV3; 1 Kodak NiMH rechargeable digital camera battery KAA2HR.
Sorry if I'm being a pain, its probably just my lack of knowledge. And thanks heaps in advance! That's not a stupid question at all! I didn't realise that. I bought them from the store this afternoon and put them in tonight, I just assumed they would work. My Father is sending me a recharger though, so maybe when that arrives and I charge them it may be a different story. Sorry if I'm asking the stupidest thing ever, but did you fully charge the batteries first?
NiMH batteries don't come charged - actually they have a tendency to drain over a month or two just sitting around doing nothing.
Additional details:
Yeah, it'll definitely be a different story. Don't take them out of the charger before they're charged. :) |
