i read the manual it isnt much help is the battery charging light meant to be on, off or flashing? Mine is off whether i plug it into the wall or with the usb cable to the computer. So is it even charging? How can i tell? Battery charge light should be on while the battery charges. The light goes out when fully charged. If your camera does charge try removing the battery, then check the contacts inside the camera are making contact with the battery contacts. If you know that the battery is discharged and the charge light does not come on then, I would suspect that the battery is dead and must be replaced. |
