dsc w1 model..battery compartment broke. where can I get spare part and how can I fix on my own if your warranty already expired, there's no risk anylonger. I have a W1 which no longer works, because of an electronic choc. However, all parts are still perfect, including the battery compartment. If you want, you could use any parts for your cam. Just contact me. DON'T!!!...if u f%ck it up, you'll lose your warranty! ur BEST and SAFEST bet would be to take it in to an AUTHORIZED dealer (call sony for nearest in ur area), or send it in to sony themselves. trust me...some things are better left to the professionals. u may be handy, but some things just aren't worth the risk. try explaining to sony that u screwed up trying to fix it urself...they'll laugh and say it's ur problem now. what may seem like a simple problem...may not be so simple to fix. consider urself advised :-P |
