I want to get a digital camera around the 拢200 - 拢300 mark?

Have been told about the sony cybershot for easy use and lithium chargeable battery, which one is the best?

why spent that much. Get a casio exslim model. I got one from asda for about 拢160. It rocks! and i have taken it around the world and have come back with amazing photos!

I just bough this. Its more like 拢350 but its SLR and is excellent value. So much better than the crappy point and shoot digitals you see everyone with (and no doubt others on here will suggest you buy for much less)

Curry's are now selling a 6 million pixel camera for 拢99 or you could try ARGOS. I bought the one I have (Fuji finepix A345) because it's lightweight, has 3x zoom and a macro feature too. It all depends on what you use it for and what features you need.

LIDL have a pretty nice camera at the moment.
