Do you know a 'fair price' digital camera repairer?

MJU 300 has died. New fully charged battery installed, contacts cleaned but not a flicker of life. Battery is making a good terminal contact.

To be honest, a decent camera repair technician would probably charge close to the price of a new camera.

When you add up the time, expertise, guarantee, VAT, parts etc, it is rare to get change from 拢100 for even minor repairs.

You pretty much have to send them back to the authorized repair center. So- you'll be paying them whatever they ask. the only choice you'll have after you pay them $30-$40 to look at it and tell you what is wrong is whether you want to bother to fix it or just get a new camera.

Time to get a new camera.

That seems like the question do you know of cheap plumber or electrician. Like the others said, if you find a shop they usually send it back to the manufacturers; thats the trouble with modern throw away technology.
