Even with new batteries, the camera rarely turns on. When it does turn on, the battery flashes low and the camera shuts off. It is three years old and probably time for a new one if I can't fix it. Any recommendations for a digital under $150 with very good pic quality? Has the camera been exposed to moisture or has there been a battery leak? Check the contacts in the battery compartment and clean if necessary. I've heard a pencil eraser does a decent job of scrubbing off debris on the contacts. Olympus is under $150
