My camera (FinePix A345) says "Card Not Initialized" when I turn it on. I was taking pictures the other day with it, and it turned off. When I turned it back on it said this message. I hadn't taken the card out or messed with the batteries or anything.
Things that I've tried so don't suggest:
*Replacing the batteries
*Taking the card out and wiping it with a soft cloth
*Taking the card to Walgreens and put it in the machine and it still didn't read
I really NEED the pictures that are on this camera... they're very important and I need to know what to do!! Please PLEASE help me!! Thanks in advance I had the same problem with the same camera. Best Buy suggested this: Plug in camera into computer, go to that drive, right click and then click on Format. This is not what you want, but this will wipe out the photos. For me, formating did not work. I ended up buying a new card. Good luck. |
