Digital Camera Question........?

I purchased a used Kodak EasyShare DX7440 used. It did not have a battery. I could not find the right battery right away so I bought a DC adaptor for it. If I purchase a battery will the power adaptor charge battery internally, or do I need a charger for the battery also? It takes special Li-Ion rechargable battery.

I can't imagine someone selling a camera with no battery in it.

Kodak Lithium-Ion is the battery you need but the dock & charger combo were optional. There should have been a charger that came with the camera and a CD.

I hope this isn't a stolen camera, because the missing accessories seem to indicate that.

fhotoace's answer is completely correct and I equally share his concerns. I also fear that by the time you buy everything for this camera and given that you paid money for the camera in the first place, if you had taken all that money you could have probably bought the equivalent camera brand new.
