Digital camera date stamp?

The date on my camera defaults to 1/01/04. When I set it to current and turn off the camera, it goes back to the same date when I restart it.

I have tried to turn off the date stamp, but again on restart it shows up at the same setting.

The batteries are new, so that's not a problem. I can't find anything for this particular model of camera (Polaroid PDC 4055) that tells me specifically how to deal with this.

You should have an internal battery inside of the camera. Sometimes you can get to it, sometimes you can't. If there's nothing in your manual, you'll probably want to take it to a repair shop or dealer.

I am having the same problem as wise_ole_. When I initially purchased my camera I had no problems with the date know the date defaults back to the same date 01/01/04. I missplaced my instructions and was looking for someone who can tell me where or if there is a battery for back up memory. Report It
