What are the best rechargable batteries for digital cameras?

Lithiums are fairly expensive yet. NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) are much cheaper right now.

I got a whole bunch of batteries from ebay and a Rayovac charger from there for pretty cheap.

I saw a basic AAA and AA charger with 2 AA batteries at Target the other day for $10. (Rayovac brand) That isn't a bad deal at all.

Nickel Metal Hydride (NMH) batteries are the best option I believe. You'll need a special charger for them.

Nickel Metal Hydride (abbreviated Ni-MH) are best. A Charger and four batteries are around $10.

Lithium Ion Batteries will give life to your camera.
