What's the best camera I could buy for taking tons of photos, of both close and distant objects, portraits, quick shots? I'm interested in the best image quality, good battery life, zoom and functions, and a price preferably under 400$. I've never had a camera before, but if I buy one, I won't be able to change it for a long time, so it has to be a really good purchase. Well, it depends on what is the size you want.
For compact cameras, I recommend you the Sony Cybershot W series, take W80 .. it's amazing.
For bigger size, burchas the spectacular Sony Cybershot H series, for example: H5 .. it costs $350 ... it's 12X optical zoom. I would say buy any model but the company should be fuji. as its quality of pics and the care of customer services. I am by no means trying to promote Canon, but this camera has received very good reviews and is quite reliable. Canon's have quality lenses and I have been using them for many years.

digital camera GUIDE
be sure to check titles on the left side
the guide should answer your questions The best camera for under $200 is the Canon A550
* 7.1 Megapixel
*4X Optical Zoom
* Very good photo quality, noise levels low through ISO 400 (in good light)
* Well built for the price
* Very good performance
* LCD visible in low light
* Some manual controls
* AF-assist lamp, good low light focusing
* Good movie and continuous shooting modes
* Impressive software bundle
* Uses AA batteries; great battery life
* USB 2.0 High Speed support I really think that the Canon S3 IS is a great all around camera. It is only about $300.
I like the nifty little flip out screen that it has.
I have taken this camera all over, from the deserts of Africa, to the open fields of Ireland, to the cold weather of Canada and to Niagara Falls. This camera takes awesome pictures in whatever environment it is in. I have a Nikon D50 with 43,344 shots on it -- works like new.
Hope this helps. I would like to highly recommend the purchase of a Nikon Coolpix L10 for the following reasons:
1. Besides taking well-exposed hi-quality 5 megapixel pictures, it uses a standard set of rechargeable double AA batteries which last a very long time;
2. Has a 3x optical zoom;
3. The flash setting for "red-eye" correction is on the navigator wheel and not within a submenu;
4. It's very small and light;
5. Uses inexpensive SD memory cards;
6. The digital video feature takes wonderful "sound" videos which are noise free. It records the piano very well with it's built-in microphone;
7. It comes with a USB 2.0 transfer cable which you connect to your USB computer port;
8. And the price is a mere $120 [sold at Samy's Camera, Staples.com.]
Good luck! |
