What digital camera should i buy if i want...?

*megapixels more than 5 (so pictures are clear when i enlarge them)
*VERY compact camera (so i can take it out with me, so a Thin sleek one.)
*a flash that doesn't wash people out
*view finder that is at least 2.5 inches (4 inches or more would be great)
*FAST shutter speed!
*Movie capability
*SD
*preferably a rechargeable battery
*Cool features like photo editing and Color Accent would be great!!

Any suggestions would be much appreciated
Any links would be great too!

Any of the Canon IXS/ELPH family are great compact cameras with around 7 megapixels. It is not the thinnest camera on the market (Sony offers that hands down), but has a large LCD and offers color editing and accent mode. Another good feature is that unlike many other compact cams Canon offers, though very small, a viewfinder which is great when the glare from the sun renders the LCD useless.

Sounds like you already know what you want.
I have a HP SmartPhoto 730 thats really nice. It does everything I need it to do... and does it well.

I use the canon ixus 40, it's a 4 megapixel camera, but there are new versions out now with 5, 6, 7, and 8 megapixel
I did my homework before I got it and it has the best movie capability ( at least twice the resolution and frame rate) than any other compact digital camera on the market, the new ones have a 3 inch lcd screen andthey are absolutely tiny in size
lots of people have said they would like a camera like mine and a few have bought them since I got my one
canon ixus range is by far the best you can get in my opinion

try this link..

its where I got mine

my suggestion
go to yahoo shopping

digital camera GUIDE
be sure to check titles on the left side
the guide should answer your questions

Even though I personally own this ultra compact camera, I would still like to highly recommend the purchase of a Nikon Coolpix L10 for the following reasons:

1. Besides taking well-exposed hi-quality 5 megapixel pictures, it uses a standard set of rechargeable double AA batteries which last a very long time;
2. Has a 3x optical zoom;
3. Takes "continuous" 2 frames per second "action/sports" images;
4. Has macro feature for close-ups of small objects focused under 6 inches;
5. The flash setting for "red-eye" correction is on the navigator wheel and not within a submenu;
6. It's very small and light;
7. Uses inexpensive SD memory cards - a 2 gig card sells for $19 at samys.com;
8. The digital video feature takes wonderful "sound" videos which are noise free. It records the piano very well with it's built-in microphone;
9. It comes with a USB 2.0 transfer cable which you connect to your USB computer port;
10. Has tripod mount on bottom of camera;
11. And the price is a mere $119 [sold at Samy's Camera - www.samys.com, and Staples.com.]

Review(s) can be found at www.amazon.com [Query: "Nikon Coolpix L10" along with pictures provided by satisfied purchasers.]

Good luck!
