my friend let me borrow her digital camera, but her batteries ran out.. it takes AA batteries. i put brand new ones in but it won't turn on!! if i put her batteries in, it will turn on for like a sec but turns off cus the battery is low. how come my batteries won't work? its the right size and they are new.. i tried other ones too. Not all batteries produce the same power, some produce more than other. Sony Cyber-shot Cameras require a lot of power in other to turn on. Try buying a brand new Duracell or Energizer batteries, they have never failed to turn on my cyber shot camera The AA batteries her camera uses are NiMH rechargeable. These last up to six times as long as standard AA's. I hope you didn't throw away her rechargeable ones.
When you buy new ones, look for ones that are at least 2300 mAh. |
