Is there anything orany kind of batteries that will last long in my digital camera?

What sort of batteries does your camera use? If it uses AA, then check this site for real-life tests on rechargeable NiMH batteries.

NiMH batteries shelf life (how much a battery discharges on its own, sitting on the shelf) is pretty bad. NiMH batteries have good capacity, better than standard alkaline batteries. They are designed to be used frequently. When not used, NiMH batteries should be recharged every 2 to 3 weeks if you want them fully charged.

AA Lithium batteries also have long life and shelf life, but are not rechargeable. The packaging says they have a capacity of 3000 mAh which is about 20% more capacity than NiMH batteries.

duracell 2650 milliamp batteries. Energizer 2500 milliamp batteries.

Find recharchable batteries that are designed for electronics. They will have a high mAh number and will outlast the non-rechargable ones. In the long run you will save money. I use the Energizer brand myself, but other brands stating the same uses are probably ok as well. The link bellow is for refference, you can probably find that same package cheaper somewhere else.

NiMH rechargeables..... I use KODAK ones in my Fuji S6000fd/S6500fd, and Ansmann in the Fuji A345 I bought before it.
