Has anyone got a praktica DCZ 8LM digital camera if so are they any good.?

does anyone know about the praktica DCZ 8LM digital camera. cant get mine to stay on. is this cos im not using alkaline batteries

the batteries i tried in it were new from packet. tried a couple of different batteries but still didnt work

batteries might be dead

My cousin got one, and she wasn't to pleased with it. I don't know why, though. :-o :(
