I recently went on a cruise and took my digital camera with me, which was working fine the first day. The second day as soon as I turned the camera on the screen showed nothing but static, like a tv thats not getting any reception. I tried taking the batteries out, putting in new ones, turning it off and on but it just wouldnt work. I checked it every day to see if it would magically be working but no luck. However, the day after I got home I turned the camera on and it was working perfectly. Has anyone else ever had this problem, what caused this?? I emailed Sony about this, but got nowhere! I have a question. Did the photos you took when you saw static on the screen save to the card alright? Did this only happen in your cabin or indoors, but worked fine on deck?
It may well be that the camera you have is very sensitive to RF and your cabin may have been very close to a wave guide. |
