Anyone that has a Kodak Easy Share Digital Camera?

i have a easy share camera that goes through batteries like crazy! ive even tried the lithium batteries. I only have maybe 6 saved pictures and my batteries are dead within an hour or less of picture taking... what is the problem?

I have the Kodak easy share cx7530 and yes, I had that issue until I discovered the Energizer rechargeable 2500mAH batteries. I purchased a pack of 6 with a battery charger . I'm good all day between the 6 batteries. Just make sure you charge them fully before you go on your picture taking journey. I paid under $20 dollars at Wal mart...I think it was only like 9.99 to tell ya the truth. It's well worth it. Try them!

i dont, but i know a lot of people that do

I have one but I dont have any problem with the battery's going dead. You better call Kodak and see if they have any suggestions. There maybe a recall.

yep!!!

crappy camera eh?

Does it also take a while to "process" pictures after taking them? if you're taking more than 3 at a time...

I love that my bf got me a digi for christmas but this one is just crap!

I have rechargable batteries- if I didn't I'd be screwed!

You can get at wal mart a charger than comes with 4 batteries for I think $35 pick up one of those packs!

Also I noticed the little button on the top that turns for video/picture/off is really touchy, many times I thought it was off but wasnt....so check that also.

I honestly hate this camera...it makes me so angry!!!!

Battery drain is dependent on how often you work the shutter, and anything else which draws current from the batteries. Rapid battery drain is a problems in many digital camera, not just Kodak. For a more technical explanation, talk to a pro at a camera store. Call them by phone.

I got a C875.
I would suggest using nickel metal hydride (NiMH) batteries. The batteries that I have right now are from Energizer and it works great. Just be sure to buy the battery charger too. Energizer has one and it also gives you four batteries. It has a feature that shuts the charger off to prevent overheating.

wow ! i think there is short sircut or critical probalm in your camera !!

I have the same camera. I have the lithium rechargable batteries and I still have to charge them about twice a month if not more if I use it more often.

If you use regular batteries even the lithium non-rechargable, you will go through batteries like crazy. That goes for a lot of cameras, not just this type.

I have the printing dock that also charges the batteries. It makes it much easier for me personally.

It also could be something that is faulty in your camera. If you don't have a warranty on it, check around at repair shops and see if someone can at least give you a free estimate on what the problem is. It might be cheaper to just purchase a new camera if it is a big problem.

Good luck. :)
