It shuts off when i push the up button or right over button on back of camera. I use rechargeable batteries and I recharged them before inserting them. does anyone know what is wrong with the camera. First I would try a brand new set of batteries. If that didn't work I'd try the reset button on the back of the camera. Small little indented button just below the down button. Use something small like the tip of a pen to push it in and reset the camera to factory settings. Here is a web page that has manual if you need one.
